Miami, FL | June 1, 2020 – Stumphauzer Foslid Sloman Ross & Kolaya is proud to announce that that partner Timothy Kolaya was appointed president of the University of Miami Law Alumni Association’s Board of Directors. He will serve a one-year term leading the Board of Directors, which is the governing body of the Alumni Association and the more than 23,000 active members throughout all 50 states and in 70 countries, with over 11,000 in the state of Florida. As a longtime member of the Law Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, Mr. Kolaya serves as an ambassador for the school by working to engage alumni globally and reconnect them with their alma mater.
Mr. Kolaya earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He later returned to the University of Miami School of Law, graduating summa cum laude, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the University of Miami Law Review.
