 Pro Bono Legal Work

Because we believe in the value and importance of effective legal representation, we are committed to helping clients who cannot afford to hire an attorney or are unable to navigate the complex legal issues they face.  Our attorneys provide pro bono legal services in matters involving religious discrimination, immigration and asylum matters, domestic violence, and nonprofit companies.

Bar Service and Professional Appointments

Law is a profession, and we understand the importance of professional service.  Our attorneys are active in national, state, and local bar associations, law school leadership, legal education, professionalism initiatives, and the selection and retention of state and federal judges.  Our lawyers include a Fellow of the American Bar Association, members of the Florida Bar’s Civil Rules Committee and the Southern District of Florida’s Local Rules Committee, the Past President of the University of Miami Law Alumni Association, and the former Co-Chair of the Southern District of Florida’s Bench & Bar Committee.  Our lawyers have been appointed to the Southern District of Florida’s Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel (appointed by former Chief Judge Federico Moreno and reappointed by Chief Judge K. Michael Moore), the Southern District of Florida’s Federal Criminal Litigation Committee (appointed by former Chief Judge Federico Moreno), the Southern District of Florida’s Ad Hoc Committee on Rules and Procedures (appointed by former Chief Judge Federico Moreno), and the Southern District of Florida’s Ad Hoc Committee on Peer Review and Attorney Grievance (appointed by former Chief Judge Federico Moreno).

Our firm is committed to giving back.
